YORKING YDY 35 S3 – 35 kVA Silenced Diesel Generator
The YORKING YDY 35 S3 is a three-phase 230/400 V diesel generator rated at 35 kVA LTP maximum and 32 kVA COP continuous output in the SEV product records. Its liquid-cooled YTO Y4102D engine at 1,500 rpm drives a YORKING Y184G alternator with AVR. A 110-litre tank, SmartGen HGM4020, 980 kg net weight and sound-insulated enclosure suit commercial power and professionally engineered backup installations.
Key specifications
Description and system planning
The YDY 35 S3 is intended for professional stationary power applications. The listed continuous COP output is 32 kVA / 26 kW, while SEV quotes 35 kVA / 29 kW for maximum LTP output. Load type, power factor, phase balance and motor inrush current must be assessed when sizing the installation.
The liquid-cooled YTO Y4102D is a four-cylinder, 3.875 l diesel engine operating at 1,500 rpm. It drives a YORKING Y184G alternator with AVR voltage control. Electric starting, engine preheating, a 24 V starter battery and four wide-opening enclosure doors are listed in the original SEV description.
A SmartGen HGM 4020 monitors operating conditions. An interface for compatible ATS control is provided, but a complete automatic transfer system is optional. Building backup requires professional design of isolation, switching, earthing, protective devices and any applicable permits.
Benefits and equipment
Peak rating, not unrestricted continuous power.
Rated output for appropriate continuous loads.
Four cylinders, 3.875 l, 1,500 rpm.
Automatic voltage regulation for suitable loads.
Digital engine and alternator monitoring.
70 dB(A) sound pressure at 7 m per SEV record.
Reference runtime about 12 hours at 75% load.
Automatic transfer with suitable optional equipment.
Technical highlights and safety
Continuous power versus maximum power
SEV specifies 32 kVA / 26 kW COP and 35 kVA / 29 kW LTP. COP denotes the listed continuous rating while LTP is not an unrestricted all-day output. Motor inrush and short-term overload capability require separate assessment.
YTO Y4102D – liquid cooling and 1,500 rpm
The 3.875 l YTO four-cylinder engine uses direct injection, mechanical speed regulation and liquid cooling for industrial generating applications. An engine preheater supports cold-weather starting. SEV documentation lists a 33 kW engine rating.
Output connections: Schuko and 400 V terminals
The existing listing states two 230 V Schuko outlets and a 400 V terminal block, not a 400 V CEE socket. Fixed three-phase wiring, earthing arrangement, protection disconnection and phase loading require professional design.
Fuel, consumption and runtime
The integrated diesel tank holds 110 litres. SEV cites around 12 hours at 75% load and 8.94 l/h at full load. These are different test points; do not use full-load consumption to infer the 75% runtime.
Noise control, dimensions and service
The enclosed version is listed at 70 dB(A) sound pressure at 7 m, 980 kg net weight and 2,218 × 880 × 1,150 mm. Four doors with up to 180° opening support service access. Allow for handling, foundation, ventilation, exhaust and maintenance clearance.
ATS, Stage 3A and safety
An ATS interface exists, but the actual transfer equipment is separately specified. The store identifies this engine as Stage 3A; permitted uses depend on current emissions requirements and location, so unrestricted mobile construction use must not be promised. Diesel exhaust contains carbon monoxide and requires safe routing.
Typical applications
Supply compatible equipment and business facilities.
Design proper transfer and ATS integration.
Temporary power for important technical loads.
Size against load profile and starting currents.
Mobile use only where emissions requirements allow.
Stationary three-phase supply with safe operation.
Check the emissions approval and application
Stage 3A, LTP/COP ratings, outlets and ATS connection originate from the existing SEV model records. Emissions eligibility and the backup installation must be checked for the intended site.

Frequently asked questions
What is its continuous rated output?
SEV lists 32 kVA or 26 kW COP.
What does 35 kVA LTP mean?
It is a maximum LTP rating, not unrestricted continuous power.
Which engine is fitted?
A liquid-cooled YTO Y4102D four-cylinder engine running at 1,500 rpm.
What outlets are provided?
Two 230 V Schuko sockets and a 400 V terminal block.
How long does one tank last?
Approximately 12 hours at 75% load according to SEV records.
Is automatic transfer included?
The ATS interface is present; a suitable transfer system is optional.
Can it be used at every site?
No. Its Stage 3A emissions designation and local requirements mean permitted use must be checked.
How is it monitored?
Through SmartGen HGM 4020; an optional GSM module may support compatible remote monitoring.
