The GENMAC STRONG-RENT G30DSS-M5 MA QFIP-DGUV is a sound-insulated diesel generator for mobile power supply on construction sites, assembly areas, events, and in professional rental operations. With a continuous output of 30 kVA or 24 kW, the unit reliably supplies machines, lighting, event technology, construction site distributors, and other electrical consumers with 400/230 V.

The specially designed switchgear meets the requirements of DGUV Information 203-032 for the selection and operation of power generators on construction and assembly sites. This makes the GENMAC G30DSS-M5 particularly suitable for applications where, in addition to performance and mobility, a high level of electrical safety is also required.

DGUV-203-032 Compliant Power Supply

In the DGUV version, the generator operates as an IT system with an ungrounded star point. An insulation monitoring device continuously checks the insulation resistance of the connected circuit to earth. The 63-A socket or the fixed connection is protected by this insulation monitoring.

The other sockets are equipped with type B all-current sensitive residual current protective devices with 30 mA. These also detect smooth DC fault currents and are therefore suitable for modern consumers with frequency converters, rectifiers, switched-mode power supplies, or electronic power controls. This includes, for example, construction cranes, pumps, chargers, lighting technology, event technology, and various electrically controlled machines.

30 kVA Power for Construction Sites and Events

The unit delivers a continuous output of 30 kVA or 24 kW PRP. For emergency power operation, up to 32 kVA or 25.6 kW LTP are available. Both three-phase consumers with 400 V and single-phase consumers with 230 V can be supplied via the connection panel.

Low-Emission Stage V Diesel Engine

The GENMAC STRONG-RENT G30DSS-M5 is powered by a water-cooled Hyundai D18 diesel engine with three cylinders, turbocharging, and intercooling. The electronically controlled engine meets the EU Stage V emission standard and is designed for economical continuous operation at 1,500 rpm.

Consumption depends on the load and is approximately:

• 2.2 l/h at 25% load
• 3.8 l/h at 50% load
• 5.6 l/h at 75% load
• 7.4 l/h at 100% load

The integrated 100-liter tank allows for an operating time of approximately 18 hours at 75 percent load. This means the unit can be operated for an entire shift or event without needing to refuel in between.

Stable Voltage thanks to Stamford Synchronous Generator

The Stamford generator with automatic voltage regulation ensures a constant output voltage. The regulation accuracy is approximately ±1 percent. This makes the generator suitable not only for robust construction machinery, but also for more sensitive consumers, controls, lighting systems, and electronic devices.

Control is handled by a ComAp AMF25. The control panel displays, among other things, voltage, frequency, current, active power, apparent power, power factor, operating hours, and fuel level.

Monitoring includes, among other things:

• Overload
• Low oil pressure
• High coolant temperature
• Low fuel level
• Overspeed
• Battery charging fault
• Engine and generator operating values

An emergency stop button and an audible alarm complete the safety equipment.

Soundproofed and Weatherproof Housing

The robust STRONG-RENT housing was developed for frequently changing deployment locations and rental operations. The galvanized and coated steel construction protects the engine, generator, and control system from weather influences and mechanical stress.

The 35 mm thick sound insulation reduces the sound pressure level to approximately 65 dB(A) at seven meters. This makes the G30DSS-M5 suitable for events, inner-city construction sites, and other noise-sensitive areas.

Four large, lockable maintenance doors provide good access to the engine and generator. Forklift pockets in the base frame and a central crane hook facilitate loading and moving the unit.

Designed for Mobile Use and Rental

The welded steel base frame features robust vibration dampers and an integrated drip tray for leaking operating fluids. The protected cable connection area and the clearly arranged control panel facilitate daily handling.

Weighing around 880 kg, the unit can be transported by forklift or crane. Its compact design also allows for space-saving setup behind stages, next to construction containers, or within cordoned-off construction site areas.
