HIMOINSA HRFW-160 S5 RENTAL Line
The HIMOINSA HRFW-160 S5 is a soundproofed three-phase diesel generator set designed for professional rental, construction-site and temporary power applications. The FPT / IVECO N67.TEVP06 Stage V diesel engine drives a STAMFORD UCI274F alternator with electronic AVR voltage regulation. With 157 kVA (126 kW) prime power (PRP) and 167 kVA (133 kW) emergency standby power (ESP), the unit supplies 400/230 V at 50 Hz. The specified configuration has a 580-litre diesel tank and a listed weight of 2,884 kg.

Advantages and equipment
Typical applications
This rental generator is suitable for industrial rental operations, large construction sites and event infrastructure. The correct output connections, load distribution and protection devices must be selected for the actual installation.
Mobile diesel generator HRFW-160 S5: what makes it suitable?
The HIMOINSA HRFW-160 S5 diesel generator is designed for high-capacity industrial mobile electricity generation. Its 157 kVA PRP rating is the relevant starting point when sizing a varying-load temporary supply. For emergency operation, the distinct 167 kVA ESP rating must be evaluated against the manufacturer’s operating restrictions.
For construction and event power, assess motor starting currents, phase imbalance, site distribution boards, cables and protective devices. For building standby applications, an appropriate interlocked transfer arrangement and an engineered protection concept are essential.
Technical highlights
Choosing the right rental generator
PRP versus ESP: Prime power describes the applicable manufacturer-defined variable-load rating; ESP is reserved for specified emergency standby duty. ESP should not be treated as unrestricted continuous power.
Electrical connections: Socket outlets and control panels may vary by configuration. Check the ordered connector layout, distribution and protective devices before commissioning.
Backup supply to buildings: Installation requires correctly designed grid separation, earthing and personnel protection. A qualified electrical professional must approve the arrangement.
