The KOMPAK 6100XE is an open-frame, single-phase diesel generator with 5.0 kW rated and 5.5 kW maximum output at 230 V. Its air-cooled 418 cc D400E diesel engine, AVR voltage regulation and electric/recoil start are suited to trades, agriculture and mobile field work. The 16 A and 32 A outlets can supply compatible single-phase loads.

5 kW diesel generator for independent 230 V power
When choosing a 230 V diesel generator, its 5.0 kW rated output matters more for prolonged operation than the maximum 5.5 kW figure. Starting current must be considered for compressors, pumps and electric motors. The generator's output is shared between the sockets; their individual ratings do not add to its total capacity.
The 418 cc air-cooled D400E direct-injection diesel engine runs at 3,000 rpm. AVR regulates the alternator voltage. A sturdy open-frame design facilitates routine servicing, while a sound pressure figure of 79 dB(A) at 7 m means suitable outdoor positioning and distance are important.
One 16 A 230 V output and one 32 A CEE 230 V outlet are documented. An ATS interface is listed by suppliers, but this is not a complete automatic household backup solution: changeover, grid isolation and protective measures must be professionally planned.
