- Splashproof housing (suitable for outdoor use): The W5 is designed for outdoor use and withstands adverse conditions such as rain, dust and mechanical stress.

- W5-EE (Version A): Three standard EU Schuko sockets, each with up to 16 A.
- W5-EI (Version B): Two standard EU Schuko sockets + one 32A industrial socket CEE 230V – ideal for large consumers.

Intelligent fast charging function:
- Fully charged via AC with 2500 W in just 2.5 hours .
- PV charging with up to 6 x 240W solar panels is also possible – charging time approx. 3.5 hours under optimal conditions.
- MPPT technology for optimizing solar power (up to 15% more efficiency).
- Expandable up to 20,160 Wh by connecting up to 3 additional S5 battery modules – ideal for longer periods of self-sufficiency.
- Emergency Power Supply (EPS): Switching from mains to battery operation within ≤ 20 ms – suitable as backup power supply for critical consumers (not UPS-compatible).

- Integrated protection system : Overvoltage protection, overload protection, short circuit protection, temperature warning and much more with display on the LCD screen .
