FOGO FD 40 Z5-Q
Stationary diesel generator with Deutz engine and digital voltage regulation for industry, commercial use and professional backup power.
Short description
Stationary, sound-attenuated diesel generator with Deutz TD 2.9 L4 engine (Stage V), 43 kVA / 34 kW ESP and 41 kVA / 33 kW PRP. Brushless FOGO/Linz PRO18M E/4 alternator with digital AVR ±0.25 %, ComAp InteliLite 4 AMF 25 controller, 400 V / 50 Hz. Fixed electrical connection at the switchgear; socket cabinet and Power-Lock connections optional. 500-litre tank, approx. 1,200 kg without fuel.
Reliable power for demanding applications
The FOGO FD 40 Z5-Q combines an electronically controlled Deutz TD 2.9 L4 with a brushless FOGO/Linz PRO18M E/4. The 2.9-litre four-cylinder engine with common-rail injection runs at 1,500 rpm and meets Stage V emissions standards. The sound-attenuated enclosure in RAL 7024, engine preheating and battery charger support stationary operation.
Digital AVR-DVR regulation measures voltage on all three phases and offers an accuracy of ±0.25 %. The manufacturer specifies total harmonic distortion below 3 % and a short-circuit current of 320 % of rated current for ten seconds. The ComAp controller monitors the engine and alternator and enables manual and automatic operation. A suitable external ATS system is available as an option for automatic mains transfer.

Notes on fuel, sizing and warranty
HVO: According to the data sheet, HVO to EN 15940 is permitted. Rated engine and generator power may be reduced by up to 5 %; consumption figures may vary. The manufacturer instructs users not to mix diesel and HVO.
Installation: Electrical integration and sizing must be carried out for the specific project by a qualified contractor. The socket cabinet, Power-Lock and ATS are optional accessories. Cable specifications in the manufacturer data sheet do not replace site-specific design.
Manufacturer warranty: For emergency standby operation, the data sheet specifies 60 months, limited to 1,000 operating hours, subject to the prescribed regular inspections. For continuous operation, it specifies 12 months or a maximum of 1,000 operating hours. The applicable manufacturer conditions apply; statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
Technical information according to the FOGO product page and data sheet, August 2026. Images may show optional equipment.
